Here are the announcements for the week of January 20th
Shadow Ridge is currently in the process of adopting the following novels to be used in the ELA classrooms. They will be available for two weeks in the school library if you would like to review any of them prior to adoption.

Making Bombs for Hitler
The National Junior Honor Society at Shadow Ridge Middle School will start its annual Pennies for Patients fundraiser this Monday, January 13th and run through Friday January 24th. Students are encouraged to bring in loose change to their class and help support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The class that raises the most will earn a lunch from Olive Garden. Please help us support this worthy cause and reach our goal of raising $2,500.
6th and 7th Grade Parents, by now, your students should have turned in their Science Practices Final contract/topic. The next step in the process is the Variables and Purpose. These should be completed and turned in to their science teacher no later than Wednesday, January 22nd.
Attention families going on the Washington DC Trip over Spring Break. Our next meeting is this Thursday, January 23rd at 6pm in the Shadow Ridge Library. Please plan to attend this meeting as we are announcing our scholarship winners, chaperone groups and going over necessary paperwork. See you then!

Attention families currently signed up for the Belize trip. We will start our first fundraiser, Tuesday January 21st selling ButterHearts and Coffee. Students can pick up order forms from Mr. Shock in A106. Order forms and money are due back to Mr. Shock on Tuesday, February 4th. Contact Mr. Shock or Mrs. Seely if you have any questions.
Are you in need of assistance this school year? At Shadow Ridge, your child will be given access to basic essentials such as coats, pants, and other clothing items, or hygiene products through our Precious Child Boutique. Please contact Debbie Millard at 720-972-5054 to learn more.

The National Junior Honor Society en Shadow Ridge Middle School comenzará con el evento Pennies for Patients para recaudar fondos anuales este lunes, 13 de enero hasta el viernes, 24 de enero. Los estudiantes pueden traer dinero a sus clases para apoyar y ayuda a la sociedad de la leucemia y linfoma. La clase que recaude más dinero, ganará un almuerzo de Olive Garden. Por favor ayudarnos a apoyar esta noble causa y llegar a nuestra meta de recaudar $2.500.
Padres de 6o y 7o Grado, sus estudiantes debió haber entregado su contrato/tema final de las Prácticas Científicas la semana pasada. El siguiente paso en el proceso son las variables y el propósito. Estos deben ser completados y entregados a su profesor de ciencias a más tardar el miércoles 22 de enero.
Atención Familias que van al viaje de Washington DC durante las vacaciones de primavera. Nuestra próxima junta será este jueves, 23 de enero a las 6:00 pm en la biblioteca de Shadow Ridge. Atención a las familias que actualmente se inscribieron para el viaje a Belice. Comenzaremos nuestra primera recaudación de fondos, el martes 21 de enero vendiendo Butter Hearts y café. Los estudiantes pueden recoger los formularios de pedido con Mr. Shock en A106. Los formularios de pedido y el dinero deben regresar al Sr. Shock el martes 4 de febrero. Póngase en contacto con el Sr. Shock o la Sra. Seely si tiene alguna pregunta.
