Wednesday, October 5th is the Official Count Day for funding.  Please make sure your student is in school on Wednesday. If a student has an appointment, please have the student attend at least half of the day.

We welcome all parents to attend our parent/teacher conferences on the evenings of Wednesday October 12^th from 5-8 p.m. and Thursday, October 13^th from 5-8 p.m.  These conferences are walk-in conferences.

Scholastic Book Fair is coming to Shadow Ridge.  During conference week, our book fair will be open in the library during school hours - 8:30 - 4:00.  The book fair will also be open during evening conference times.  Our book fair will run from Monday, Oct. 10th through Thursday, Oct. 13th.

RAM RECOVERY offers students a time to meet with any of their teachers.

RAM RECOVERY takes place the first and third Wednesday of every month.

TIME: 2:15 – 3:00 PM

The Morning Café is now opened to students. It will be open daily from 8:00-8:20. The Morning Cafe's purpose is to provide the students an opportunity to fuel up in the morning to help them perform better throughout the day.  Healthy food options will be available to purchase or students can bring in their own healthy food.   

The second Shadow Ridge Community Night will be held on Tuesday, October 18^th from 5:30 to 6:30 in the library. Reading, Writing and ESL teachers and students will be presenting. Free babysitting will be provided.

Parents:  Shadow Ridge Middle School participates in the programs "Box Tops for Education" and "Labels for Education". Many of the food and household items that families purchase have these coupons or emblems on the sides of boxes or wrappers of the item. Please send any of these box tops or labels to SRMS with your student.  There is a turn in box for each type in the main office.  All of these items turned in mean dollars for SRMS.

Padres de Familia y Tutores,

Queremos invitar a todos los padres de familia para que asistan a las conferencias de padres de familia/maestros.  Estas se llevaran a cabo el miercoles Octubre 12 de 5-8 pm  y el Jueves Octubre 13 de 5-8 pm.  Estas conferencias son sin cita.

La Feria del Libro de Scholastic será el la biblioteca de Shadow Ridge durante las semana de conferencias de padres de familia/maestros.  La feria del libro sera en la biblioteca y el horario es de 8:30-4:00.     Tambien estaremos en las tardes durante los dias de las conferencias.  La feria del libro sera del lunes 10 de Octubre hasta el Jueves 13 de Octubre.

RAM RECOVERY ofrece tiempo para que los estudiantes se reúnan con sus maestros.

RAM RECOVERY se lleva a cabo el primer y tercer miercoles de cada mes.

Here are the announcements for the week of September 26^th

Parents/guardians of 7th grade students. 7th grade students are going on a field trip to the University of Colorado, Denver, Friday, September 30th. Permission slips went out last week and need to be turned in no later than Wednesday, September 28th. If your student is going to need a sack lunch, then we need that information no later than Tuesday, September 27th. This is a great opportunity for our 7th grade students.

Esta es una gran oportunidad para su hijo/a de 7th grado.

The first Shadow Ridge Community Night will be held on Tuesday September 13^th from 5:30 to 6:30 pm in the library.  There will be a presentation about the library and the SRMS math department.  There will also be information about how to access the Parent Portal and Gmail. Free babysitting will be provided.

Our Fall Fundraiser will begin on September 13^th; it will kick-off with an assembly in the gym. The students will be selling cookie dough and entertainment books.  More information will come home with your student after the assembly. The fundraiser will begin September 13th and end September 28th.

Here are the announcements for the week of September 6th

Shadow Ridge Carnival will be held on Friday, September 9th from 4:15 - 6:45 PM. Once again this year kids will need to purchase a wrist band for $10. This wristband allows them unlimited access to all booths along with the inflatable obstacle course, the dunk tank and cotton candy. For an extra fee they can purchase food, treats from the bake sale, a chance to be in the cake walk, pictures from the photo booth, as well as a few other things. Kids will also have the opportunity to earn prizes using a punch card they will receive at the carnival!

Estas son las noticias de la semana de Septiembre 6.

El carnaval de Shadow Ridge será el 9 de Septiembre de 4:15 – 6:45 PM. Otra vez este año los estudiantes tendrán que comprar una pulsera de $10.  Esta pulsera les permitirá acceso ilimitado a todas las atracciones así como también  a los obstáculos inflables, el hombre al tanque, y algodón de azúcar.  Por una cuota extra podrán comprar comida,  pasteles y la oportunidad de caminar en el paseo de los pasteles, fotos de la cabina fotográfica, así como algunas otras cosas. Los estudiantes también tendrán la oportunidad de ganar premios utilizando una tarjeta con perforaciones que recibirán en el carnaval.
