Hello Shadow Ridge Parents and Guardians!!!!

Here are the announcements for the week of Week of January 3^rd

Attention Adams 12 parents/guardians: Adams 12 wants your input and insight to help shape the district's strategic, longer-term wellness and whole child plan for the district! Go to the Shadow Ridge webpage and click on the Parent Wellness Focus Group link for information on January 2017 parent focus group opportunities and/or to indicate your interest in being involved. Food will be provided during the focus groups, each focus group participant will receive a gift as a thank you for sharing your thoughts and time and child care will be available. 

Auditions for SRMS Drama Club's Spring Production, April Fish, will be on Monday, January 9th and Tuesday January 10th. Sign-ups are on the bulletin board across the cafeteria. Actors must prepare and memorize a funny monologue or a funny stand-up routine as a character. Crew sign-up sheets are available as well and are due by Tuesday, January 17.

Estas son las noticias de la semana de enero 3. 

Atención Padres de Familia/Tutores: Adams 12 quiere su aportación y percepción para ayudar a formar las estrategias del distrito, bienestar a largo plazo y el plan integral del estudiante para el distrito! Para tener mas información vaya en enero del 2017 a la página Web de Shadow Ridge y haga click en el enlace de Grupo de Bienestar de Padres para indicar si tiene intéres en ser parte de este grupo y estar involucrado.  Se proporcionará comida durante los encuentros, cada grupo participante recibira un regalo como agradecimiento por compartir sus ideas y tiempo. También ofreceremos cuidado de niños para que pueda asistir.

Audiciones para la produción de primavera del Club de Drama de SRMS, April Fish, serán el lunes 9 de enero y martes enero 10. Las inscripciones estan en el boletin informativo enfrente de la cafeteria. Los actors deben preparer y memorizar un monólogo divertido o una rutina divertida para su personaje.  Tambien las inscripciones para el equipo de apoyo estan disponibles hasta el martes17 de enero

Here are the announcements for the week of December 12th

Parents/Guardians:

Our lost and found boxes are overflowing with coats, lunch boxes, etc. that have gone unclaimed.  On December 15th we are going to empty the boxes and donate everything. If you know your student is missing something feel free to come in and check the boxes.  We are also telling students to do the same through our morning announcements.

Geography Bee is Tuesday, December 13 at 5:30 in the media center. 

Shadow Ridge Community Night will be held on Tuesday, December 13th from 5:30 to 6:30 pm in the Library. There will be presentations from the Social Studies and Science Departments. Free babysitting will be provided.

Attention 6th Graders:

WEBBIE WINTERLAND with your WEB Leaders!

When:  Tuesday, December 13th 3:45pm to 4:45pm

Where:  Cafeteria

Note for Parents/Guardians: Your student is invited to come and make Gingerbread houses with their WEB Leaders on Tuesday, December 13, 2016, and require your permission for your student to attend. The event will begin at 3:45 pm and end at 4:45 pm. Your student must have a way to get home after the event. If you are picking up your student, please be to the school by 4:45 pm. Each 6th grade student was given a ticket. Please sign the ticket to acknowledge you are giving permission for your student to attend and your student will make arrangements for transportation home. If your student does not have a ticket, you may write a note confirming he/she has permission to attend.

Quarter 2 ends Thursday, December 15^th

No School Friday, December 16^th Teacher Duty Day

Winter Break is December 19^th thru January 2^nd

No School Tuesday, January 3^rd In Common Release Day

All Students return to school on Wednesday, January 4^th

Estas son las noticias de la semana de diciembre 12.    

Padres de Familia/Tutores:

Nuestras cajas de cosas perdidas esta llena de abrigos, loncheras, etc y no han sido reclamados. El 15 de diciembre vamos a vaciar las cajas y donar todo. Si ustede sabe que a su estudiantes le falta algo no dude en venir a revisar las cajas.  A través de nuestros anuncios de la mañana estamos invitando a los estudiantes a que hagan lo mismo

Geography Bee es el martes, 13 de diciembre a las 5:30 en la biblioteca.

La noche de comunidad será el martes 13 de diciembre de 5:30 a 6:30 pm en la biblioteca.  Los departamentos de Ciencias y Estudios Sociales harán la presentación.  Tendremos servicio gratis para el cuidado de los niños.

Atención estudiantes de 6th:

Cuando:  Martes, Diciembre 13 de 3:45pm a 4:45pm

Dónde:  En la Cafeteria

Nota para los Padres de Familia/Tutores: Su estudiante está invitando a venir y hacer casas de Jengibre con los líderes de WEB el martes 13 de diciembre del 2016, se requires su permiso para que su estudiantes pueda asistir. El evento empieza a las 3:45 pm and terminá a las 4:45 pm.  Su estudiante debe tener una forma de llegar a casa después del evento.  Si usted va a recoger a su estudiante por favor llegue a las 4:45 pm. A cada estudiante de 6to grado se le dio un boleto. Por favor firme el boleto dando persmiso para que su estudiante pueda asistir al evento así como tambien tengan arreglado como va a llegar el estudiante a su casa. Si su estudiante no tiene el boleto, usted puede escribir una nota diciendo que el estudiante tiene permiso para asistir al evento.

El segundo quarto terminá el Jueves 15 de diciembre.

No habra clases el viernes 16 de diciembre.  Día de trabajo para maestros.

Vacaciones de Invierno del 19 de diciembre hasta el 2 de Enero.

No habra clases el martes 3 de enero.

Todos los estudiantes regresan a la escuela el miércoles 4.

Here are the announcements for the week of December 5th  

TICKETS to Shrek the Musical will be on sale on Monday, December 5th thru Friday December 9th. Tickets are sold before and after school. Tickets are $5 for students in district and $7 for others. Hurry and buy them before they are sold out! Show dates are Thursday December 8th, Friday December 9th and Saturday December 10th at 7:00 p.m. Tickets will be sold the night of as well.

Boletos para el musical Shrek estaran a la venta desde el lunes 5 hasta el viernes 9 de diciembre. Los boletos se venden antes y después de la escuela.  El costo de los boletos es de $5 para los estudiantes en el distrito y $7 para el publico en general.  Date prisa y compra los boletos antes de que se agoten.  Las fechas para la presentación son el jueves 8, viernes 9 y el sábado 10 de diciembre a las 7:00 pm. Los boletos tambien se venderán antes de que empiece la función.
