This is a special announcement for parents of Shadow Ridge. Even though the final deadline for submitting your child's yearbook baby ad has passed, there is a limited amount of ad space still available. So if you are still interested, don't delay, please submit your ad as soon as you can. We will be accepting late ad submissions for the yearbook by mail or online until December 5th. Shadow Ridge BIONIC Club is hosting a toy drive from November 11th through December 13th. Check the Shadow Ridge website for more information. Please bring toys to the counseling office. Thank you for your support.


Milk Caps for Moola!

Shadow Ridge is teaming up with Longmont Dairy to raise $$ money for our SRMS Special Education department! The money will go towards 2 Chromebook carts with a total of 20 Chromebooks for students with disabilities. Bring your Longmont Dairy Milk and OJ caps to the front office. Thank you for your contribution!

Are you in need of assistance this school year? At Shadow Ridge, your child will be given access to basic essentials such as coats, pants, and other clothing items, or hygiene products through our Precious Child Boutique. Please contact Debbie Millard at 720-972-5054 to learn more.

This is an urgent reminder to parents of Shadow Ridge 8th graders. The final deadline for submitting your child’s personal recognition yearbook ad is coming up on November 19th. Do not miss this once in a lifetime opportunity. For more information, please visit www.theyearbookcompany.com Do not delay,as space is limited.


As we do every year, NJHS is sponsoring our November food drive. We will begin on Monday, November 4th and end on Wednesday 20th. We are accepting any non-perishable items, i.e. cans, boxed food, etc. The top class with the most items will earn an ice-cream party. The second and third place classes will earn candy. Please encourage your student to participate since this drive benefits families in our community through a Thornton food bank!

Este es un aviso urgente para los padres de familia de 8th grado de Shadow Ridge Middle School. Se acerca el plazo final para presentar los anuncios de reconocimiento personal de su hijo/a el 19 de noviembre. No se pierda esta oportunidad. Como todos los años, NJHS patrocina nuestra colecta de alimentos de noviembre. Comenzaremos el lunes 4 de noviembre y terminaremos el miércoles 20. Aceptamos cualquier artículo no perecedero, es decir, latas, comida en caja, etc. La clase que traiga con más artículos ganará una fiesta de helados. Las clases de segundo y tercer lugar ganarán dulces. Anime a su estudiante a participar ya que este evento beneficia a las familias de nuestra comunidad a través de un banco de alimentos en Thornton!

Shadow Ridge Middle School is proud to present our fall musical "Live! At the Village Cafe!" Our students have been working very hard putting together this show and we would love to see all of you to support us. Our show dates and times are: November 14,15 &16 @7:00pm
Tickets can be purchased at the door $5.00 for adults and 3.00 for students.

SRMS will be administering the COGAT, Gifted and Talented, test to any 7th or 8th grade students whose scores indicate or parents' request they should be tested. If you feel your child should be tested for Gifted and Talented Services and they have not been tested in the last, please contact the school before next Friday. SRMS administrará el COGAT, la prueba de Dotado y Talentoso a cualquier estudiante de 7 u 8 grado si su promedio indica un porcentaje alto o si los padres lo soliciten.
