Week of April 6th

Hello Shadow Ridge Parents and Guardians!
Here are the announcements for the week of April 6th:

Parking Lot Procedures:
We need everyone’s cooperation with parking lot traffic. We have two parking lots. The north lot (closer to Horizon HS) is for parents to drop off and pick up their students and to park in during the day. The south lot (closer to 120th) is for the District 12 Buses to drop off and pick up students and for teachers to park in during the day. It is imperative that we have the parents drop off/pick up your students in the north lot, especially before school (from 7:45 – 8:23 a.m.) and after school (from 3:23 – 3:45 p.m.).

Attention all current 8th grade students who will be attending Thornton High and interested in trying out for the Thornton High School Cheerleading team: We will be having our parent information meeting on Monday, April 6th, 2015 at 6pm in the Thornton High cafeteria. 

Show off your school spirit during spirit week, this week, April 6th-9th.
Monday - Professional Sports Day - Jerseys allowed!
Tuesday - Zombie Day
Wednesday - RAMS Day - Wear your purple, black and white!
Thursday - TBT (Throw Back Thursday) - Wear anything from past decades.
Items will be sold before school on Tuesday and Wednesday. Prices will range from 50c to $1.00.

Friday, April 10th No School (Comp Day)

Spring Play “This is Just to Say” by Julia C. Bond is on April 23rd, 24th and 25th at 7 pm.

RAMS RECOVERY TIME – Help us help your child and improve his/her achievement. Teachers will be available the first, second, and third Wednesday of the month from 2:20-3:00 p.m. in individual classrooms for assessment make-ups and help. Transportation will not be provided. Students will need to make transportation arrangements with their parents/guardians.

Los Procedimientos del Parqueadero:
Necesitamos la cooperación de todos con el tráfico de estacionamiento. Tenemos dos estacionamientos. El lote norte cerca de la esquina 128 y Holly es dedicado para los padres para dejar y recoger a su estudiante y para estacionar durante el día. El lote sur cerca de 120 es para los autobuses del distrito y para los maestros. Es imperativo que los padres usen el estacionamiento norte, sobre todo antes y después de la escuela.

Atención a todos los estudiantes del octavo grado que asistirán a Thornton High
interesado en probar para el equipo de cheerleading para Thornton High School. Hay una junta informativa para los padres el lunes 6 de abril a las 6 pm en el cafetería de Thornton High.

Muestra tu espíritu escolar del 6 hasta el 9 de abril.
El lunes es día del Deporte Profesional - Jerseys permitido!
El martes es día del zombi
El miércoles es día de RAMS – vestirse en púrpura, blanco y negro!
El jueves es día de vestirse de décadas pasadas.
Se venderán productos costando $0.50 hasta $1 antes de escuela el martes y el miércoles.

No hay clases el 10 de abril.

La obra de primavera "Esto es sólo para decir" por Julia C. Bond es el 23, 24 y 25 de abril a las 7 pm.

RAMS RECOVERY TIME. Ayúdanos ayudar a los estudiantes a mejorar su rendimiento académico. Los maestros estarán disponibles el primer, segundo y tercer miércoles de cada mes de las 2:20pm-3:00pm en sus aulas para retomar examenes o cualquier otra pregunta o ayuda. El transporte no será proporcionado. Los estudiantes tendrán que hacer los arreglos de transporte con sus padres.
