Hello Shadow Ridge Parents and Guardians!!!!

Here are the announcements for the week of September 18th

The first Community Night for Shadow Ridge Middle School will be held on September 19th from 5:30 to 6:30 in the Media Center. We will showcase the math department, the library, and there will be computer information about the parent portal and Gmail. Free babysitting will be provided.

The Annual SRMS Carnival is on September Friday, 29th from 4:15 to 6:30. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Mrs. Kemble.  Once again this year kids will need to purchase a wristband for $10. This wristband allows them unlimited access to all booths along with the inflatable obstacle course, the dunk tank and cotton candy. For an extra fee they can purchase food, a chance to win a delicious dessert in the cake walk, pictures from the photo booth, as well as a few other things. Students will also have the opportunity to earn prizes using a punch card they will receive at the carnival!

Extra Innings will begin next Monday September 18th at 7:30am.  The students will report to GYM door at the south end of the building by the basketball courts.  This club is like having an extra morning P.E class.  It is an awesome way for your students to get more activity time.  I look forward to seeing your student this Monday.  We will meet every Monday and Friday at 7:30am-8:05am from now until April.

Just a reminder to parents and students: Skateboards, rollerblades, bikes, and scooters shall not be ridden on school grounds due to safety concerns.  Please make sure that your student is obeying this rule and that once they get on school grounds, they need to get off of their skateboards, rollerblades, bikes, and scooters and walk them the rest of the way.  After school, they need to walk them until they get off of school grounds.  Thank you for keeping our students safe.

Hola Padres de Familia y Tutores de Shadow Ridge!!!!

Estas son las noticias de la semana del Septiembre 18

La primera noche de la comunidad de Shadow Ridge será el 19 de septiembre de 5:30 a 6:30 p.m. en la biblioteca.  El departamento de matemáticas y la biblioteca harán la presentación. También habrá información acerca de cómo lograr entrar al Portal para Padres y Gmail. Tendremos servicio gratis para el cuidado de los niños.

El carnaval anual de SRMS será el viernes, 29 de septiembre de 4:15 a 6:45 PM. Si usted está interesado en ser voluntario por favor comuniquese con la Sra. Kemble.  Este año los estudiantes tendrán que comprar una pulsera de $10.  Esta pulsera les permitirá acceso ilimitado a todas las atracciones así como también  a los obstáculos inflables, el hombre al tanque, y algodón de azúcar.  Por una cuota extra podrán comprar comida,  pasteles y la oportunidad de caminar en el paseo de los pasteles, fotos en la cabina fotográfica, así como algunas otras cosas. Los estudiantes también tendrán la oportunidad de ganar premios utilizando una tarjeta con perforaciones que recibirán en el carnaval.

Entradas extras comenzará el próximo lunes Septiembre 18 a las 7:30 am. Los estudiantes entraran al Gimnasio por la puerta del extremo sur del edificio enfrente de las canchas de baloncesto. Este club es como tener una clase de P.E. extra por la mañana. Es una manera fácil para que sus estudiantes tenga más tiempo de actividad. Espero contar con la presencia de su hijo este lunes.

Nos reuniremos todos los lunes y Viernes de 7:30-8:05 am de septiembre hasta abril.  Si tiene preguntas mande un correo electrónico al Sr. Ager.

Este es un recordatorio para los padres y estudiantes: patinetas, patines, bicicletas y scooters no pueden ser usadas en el perímetro de la escuela debido a las medidas de seguridad. Por favor, asegúrese de que su estudiante obedezca esta regla y una vez que se encuentre en la escuela, necesita dejar de usar la patinetas, patines, bicicletas y scooters y deberá caminar el resto del camino. Después de la escuela, deben caminar y no usarlos  hasta que se encuentren fuera del perímetro de la escuela.  Gracias por mantener seguros a nuestros estudiantes.
