Families who are traveling to Belize in Summer 2021 please be sure to turn in all ButterHeart fundraisers orders and money to Mr. Shock in A106 by Tuesday, February 4th. Items will be available after school February 11th. Please be sure to pick them up as they must remain frozen and the school does not have a place to store them.


Parents/Guardians, by now all students at Shadow Ridge should have received and started the first few steps of their final science projects. Each grade level has varied due dates for this project moving forward, due to this we will no longer be sending out reminders in the autodialer. Each student has a print out of the due dates in their assignment packet. The due dates are also posted on the science department page of the Shadow Ridge Website. If you have any further questions please reach out to your student's science teacher.

Las familias que viajan a Belice en el verano de 2021 por favor asegúrese de entregar todos los pedidos de recaudación de fondos de ButterHeart y dinero al Sr. Shock en el salon A106 para el martes 4 de febrero. 6th and 7th grade Parents, thank you for making sure that your child is up to date on their Final Science project. At this point, they should have turned the Variables and Purpose. Attention Shadow Ridge Students. It's time to dodge, duck, dip, dive and dodge! The 7th Annual Dodgeball Tournament is coming! The tournament will be on Thursday, January 30th 2020 starting at 4:00pm. Teams will compete to win the title of "Best Dodge Ballers;" Teams can be made up of anyone from SRMS with a maximum of 6 players per team. In order to be eligible to play, a team form along with the Dodgeball Liability form for each member of the team must be completed and turned in NO LATER THAN January 28th 2020. Late submissions will not be accepted. Forms can be picked up from and turned in to any of the PE Teachers. Please encourage your family and friends to come and watch the fun!

Shadow Ridge is currently in the process of adopting the following novels to be used in the ELA classrooms. They will be available for two weeks in the school library if you would like to review any of them prior to adoption.

The National Junior Honor Society at Shadow Ridge Middle School will start its annual Pennies for Patients fundraiser this Monday, January 13th and run through Friday January 24th. Students are encouraged to bring in loose change to their class and help support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The class that raises the most will earn a lunch from Olive Garden. Please help us support this worthy cause and reach our goal of raising $2,500.


6th and 7th Grade Parents, by now, your students should have turned in their Science Practices Final contract/topic. The next step in the process is the Variables and Purpose. These should be completed and turned in to their science teacher no later than Wednesday, January 22nd.


Attention families going on the Washington DC Trip over Spring Break. Our next meeting is this Thursday, January 23rd at 6pm in the Shadow Ridge Library. Please plan to attend this meeting as we are announcing our scholarship winners, chaperone groups and going over necessary paperwork. See you then!

Hello Families,
The Special Education Department will be holding our annual community night on January 14th at 6:00pm. We are partnering with the English Department this year as they will be holding the Shadow Ridge Spelling Bee. Please join us for an informational session relating to bullying vs conflict, transition to high school, parent IEP resources, study skills, and executive functioning skills in addition to supporting our students at SRMS with the spelling bee. We look forward to seeing you!
