Here are the announcements for the week of September 11th

The first Community Night for Shadow Ridge Middle School will be held on September 19th from 5:30 to 6:30 in the Media Center. We will showcase the math department, the library, and there will be computer information about the parent portal and Gmail. Free babysitting will be provided.

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Our annual Cookie Dough and Entertainment Book fundraiser to support our technology programs is just around the corner. This years fundraiser will include several amazing prizes and a grand prize drawing for bluetooth headphones.  Some of other prizes will include 50.00 cash, 25.00 cash and many more prizes.  Also included in the grand prize will be the professional BMX bike show, held at shadow ridge middle school on October 2nd. The kickoff for the fundraiser will begin on September 12th. Each student will be given the classic recipe collection envelope, containing the catalog, order form, information about the fundraiser, and prize information. Thank you for making this year's fundraiser our best ever.

The Annual SRMS Carnival is on September Friday, 29th from 4:15 to 6:30. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Mrs. Kemble.  We look forward to having a fun celebration of family and friends!

Attention 8th grade students and families interested in going to Washington DC over spring break. There will be an informational meeting Tuesday, September 12th at 5:30pm in the Shadow Ridge Library. If  you are already signed up for the trip please arrive at 6pm. We will see you there!

Hello 6th Grade Families:

Please be advised that 6th grade students are required to have a booster vaccine for Pertussis, also known as Whooping Cough.  The name of the vaccine is Tdap.  If your child received a Tdap vaccine over the summer please bring proof of vaccine to the school health office immediately.  If your child has not received the Tdap vaccine please contact your health care provider or your local health department.  Students not in compliance with state regulations could face exclusion from school. You may check your student’s immunization school record through the Parent Portal on Infinite Campus.

Estas son las noticias de la semana del Septiembre 11

La primera noche de la comunidad de Shadow Ridge será el 19 de septiembre de 5:30 a 6:30 p.m. en la biblioteca.  El departamento de matemáticas y la biblioteca harán la presentación. También habrá información acerca de cómo lograr entrar al Portal para Padres y Gmail. Tendremos servicio gratis para el cuidado de los niños.

Estimados Padres de Familia y/o Tutores

Nuestra venta anual de masa para galletas y el libro de entretenimiento para recaudar fondos para apoyar a nuestro programa de tecnología está a la vuelta de la esquina. Este año tendremos varios increíbles premios y una rifa para unos audífonos inalámbricos. Otros premios incluyen 50.00 en efectivo, 25.00 en efectivo y muchos premios más. También se incluye el gran premio de la bicicleta profesional BMX, que se rifara el 2 de octubre en Shadow Ridge Middle School.  El inicio para la recaudación de fondos será el 12 de septiembre. Cada estudiante recibirá un sobre con el catálogo y formas para ordenarla así como también información del evento y los premios.  Gracias por hacer que este año el evento sea el mejor.

El carnaval anual de SRMS será el viernes, 29 de septiembre de 4:15 a 6:45 PM. Si usted está interesado en ser voluntario por favor comuniquese con la Sra. Kemble.  Esperamos que se diviertan en esta celebración con la familia y amigos!

Atención alumnos y familias de octavo grado que estén interesados en ir a Washington DC durante las vacaciones de primavera.  Habrá una junta informativa el martes, septiembre 12 a las 5:30 pm en la biblioteca de Shadow Ridge. Si ya estan registrados para el viaje, por favor llegen a la junta a las 6 pm.  Los esperamos!

Hola Familias de estudiantes de 6to grado:

Por favor tengan en cuenta que todos los estudiantes de 6to grado tienen que tener un refuerzo de la vacuna para la Pertusis, también conocida como Tos Ferina.  El nombre de esta vacuna es Tdap.  Si su hijo recibió una vacuna Tdap durante el verano, por favor traiga la documentación a la enfermería de la escuela inmediatamente.  Si su hijo no ha recibido la vacuna Tdap, comuniquese con la oficina de su doctor o con el departamento de salud local.  Los estudiantes que no cumplan con los reglamentos estatales podrían ser excluidos de la escuela.  Usted puede revisar el registro de la escuela de inmunización de su estudiante a través del Portal para padres en el Infinite Campus.
