Here are the announcements for the week of March 20^th

Attention 6th grade students

MARCH MOVIE MADNESS is this coming Wednesday, March 22, 2017!

Come and hang out, watch Space Jam and party with your WEB Leaders!

2:30 pm to 4:15 pm in the cafeteria

We will be watching the PG rated movie “Space Jam” and require parent/guardian permission for your student to attend.  

Tickets will be handed out to the students. By signing the ticket you are giving permission for your student to attend and view the movie.

Students must have a way to get home after the event.

Parents/Guardians please be to the school by 4:15 pm.

Message from the Shadow Ridge Science Teachers

The next turn-in date is Wednesday, March 22nd.  Students should have their Conclusion typed into their document by this date.  Also, we would like to suggest that you purchase the tri-fold presentation board before Spring Break.  We will have 1,000 students looking to purchase their board in the Thornton area stores.  

As always, thank you so much for your support of our 4th Annual Science Fair.

We will be CMAS testing from March 13th to April 28th. 

Please make sure your student has a healthy breakfast and a great night of sleep.

All cell phones and IPods/MP3 players must be left in the students’ locker or out of sight. This includes headphones. Please remind your student to keep them out of sight or a staff member will confiscate them.

The spring fundraiser has begun!  6th & 7th grade students are selling food and other items in order to raise money for our teachers.  The students received their fundraiser packets on Wednesday, 3/8/17.  All orders and money will be due Wednesday, 3/22/17.  Thank you for supporting our school!

Spring Break, March 27^th – March 31^st

No School, Monday April 3^rd Comp Day

As the end of the school year approaches, please be aware of any outstanding balances and the impact these may have on your student.  Students transitioning from grades 5th to 6th , grades 8th to 9th and those Graduating Seniors must have all outstanding fees resolved prior to May 1st. Should you have questions regarding these balances please contact the respective school concerning the outstanding fee.

Estas son las noticias de la semana del 20 de Marzo.

Atención estudiantes de 6to grado

MARCH MOVIE MADNESS será este miercoles, marzo 33 del 2017!

Ven a pasar el rato, y ve la película Space Jam y diviertete con los líderes de la WEB! De las 2:30 pm a las 4:15 pm en la cafeteria. 

La película “Space Jam” esta clasificada PG y se requiere el permiso del padre/tutor. Los estudiantes recibiran los boletos y al firmar el boleto están dando permiso para que su estudiante asista y vea la película.

Los estudiantes deben tener una manera para llegar a casa después de la película.

Padres de familia/tutores por favor lleguen a la escuela a las 4:15 pm.

Si tiene preguntas, por favor póngase en contacto con la oficina.

Mensaje de los maestros de ciencias de Shadow Ridge

La siguiente fecha para entrega es el 22 de marzo. Los estudiantes deben tener su conclusión escrita en máquina y en su document para esta fecha.  Tambien nos gustaría sugerir que compren un triprico antes de las vacaciones de primavera. Vamos a tener como 1000 estudiantes tratando de comprar un triptico en las tiendas en el area de Thornton.

Del 13 de marzo al 28 de Abril estaremos dando los examenes de CMAS

Por favor asegúrese de que su estudiante tenga un desayuno saludable y que descanse durante la noche.

Todos los teléfonos celulares, IPods/MP3 deben de permanecer en los lockers de los estudiantes o fuera de vista.  Esto incluye los auriculares.  Por favor recuerde a su estudiante de mantenerlos fuera de la vista de los maestro para que no los confisquen.

La recaudación de fondos de primavera ha comenzado! Los estudiantes de sexto y séptimo grado están vendiendo alimentos y otros articulos con el fin de recaudar fondos para nuestros maestros.  Los estudiantes recibieron sus paquetes de recaudación de fondos el miércoles, marzo 8 del 2017. Todas las órdenese y dinero se deberán entregar el miércoles marzo 22 del 2017. Gracias por apoyar a nuestra escuela!

Las Vacaciones de primavera serán del 27 al 31 de Marzo 

No habra clases el lunes 3 de abril -- dia de Compensacion

Al acercarse el fin del año escolar, esté al tanto de cualquier balance 

adeudado y elimpacto que tendrá en su hijo.Los estudiantes que vana pasar del 5to al 6to grado, del 8vo al 9no grado,y los que se gradúan de 12 grado, 

tienen que tener sus balances pagados antes del 1ero de mayo. Si tiene preguntas sobre estos balances, comuníquese con la escuela a la que debe el dinero.
