Here are the announcements for the week of March 4th
Shadow Ridge Middle School will be administering the Colorado Measures of Academic Success (CMAS) tests on the dates listed below. Please make every effort to make sure your child is in attendance on their testing days. Thank you for your continued support of your child's academic progress.
CMAS Testing Schedule 2019
Tuesday, March 19th- 6th & 7th grade
Wednesday, March 20th - 6th & 7th grade
Thursday, March 21st- 6th & 7th grade
Tuesday, April 9th - 8th grade
Wednesday, April 10th - 8th grade

Tuesday, April 16th - 8th grade
Dear Parents/Guardians,
We are doing a study through the University of Colorado Center for the Study and Prevention of Violence within our school and community. The information being collected this Spring will be used to help us learn about how to make schools safer for all students. Your child will be bringing home the Informed Consent to participate in the survey. The participation is voluntary but the form needs to be signed by the student and parent/guardian, identifying your permission to either complete the survey or opt out. The survey will be administered online at school and will take less than 1 hour to complete. If you have any questions, please contact Bernie Donin at 720-972-5045

The next checkpoint for the Science Fair project is the Results section which is due on Wednesday, March 18th. Students should be collecting the data for their experiment, recording it in a data table, and graphing the information. The Shadow Ridge Science Teachers thank you for assisting your child with their project and for supporting our Science Fair!

Estimados padres de Familia/Tutores
A través del centro de estudios y prevención de la violencia de la Universidad de Colorado estamos haciendo un estudio de nuestra escuela y comunidad. La información recibida esta primavera se utilizará para ayudarnos a planear como hacer la escuela más seguras para todos los estudiantes. Su hijo traerá a casa una forma para que usted dé su consentimiento para que participe en la encuesta. La participación es voluntaria, pero la forma debe ser llenada y firmada por el estudiante y padre/tutor, usted debe de señalar en la forma su permiso para completar la encuesta o excluirse. La encuesta será administrada en línea en la escuela y tardará menos de una hora para completar. Si usted tiene alguna pregunta, póngase en contacto con Bernie Donin al 720-972-5045

El siguientes paso del proyecto de la Feria de Ciencias será el Resultado el cual debe ser entregado el miércoles, marzo 18. Los estudiantes deben recoger los datos para su experimento, registrarlos en una tabla de datos y graficar la información. Los maestros de ciencias de Shadow Ridge les agradecen la ayuda que les brindan a su estudiante con el proyecto de la Feria de Ciencias!
El 3er Cuarto terminá el 15 de marzo.
