Here are the announcements for the week of January 28th
Shadow Ridge Middle School will be administering the Colorado Measures of Academic Success (CMAS) tests on the dates listed below. Please make every effort to make sure your child is in attendance on their testing days. Thank you for your continued support of your child's academic progress.

Parents/Guardians,
We need your assistance in order to keep ALL of our students safe, as they unload and load to/from school. The North lot is designated as the parent drop off and pick up lot at Shadow Ridge, the south lot is designated as the transportation (buses transporting students) and staff lot. We need ALL parent vehicles to use the north lot and use the parking spaces, not in the "RED Fire Lane"...which needs to be accessed by emergency personnel in the case of an emergency. Cars have been backed up for hundreds of feet on north Holly Street due to cars parking in the RED Fire Lane. Please help us keep EVERY student safe by parking in the north lot and in the individual parking spaces!

Parents, thank you for making sure that your child is up to date on their Science Fair project. At this point, they should have their purpose written in their digital document. The next due date is the background information on Wednesday, February 6th.

The National Junior Honor Society at Shadow Ridge Middle School will start its annual Pennies for Patients fundraiser this Monday, January 21st and run through Friday, February 1st. Students are encouraged to bring in loose change to their advisory class and help support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The advisory class that raises the most will earn a lunch from Olive Garden. Please help us support this worthy cause and reach our goal of raising $2,500.
All friends, family and supporters of the Shadow Ridge Middle School are invited to participate in their fundraiser event on Tuesday ,January 29, 2019. Everyone is invited to gather at the Rusty Bucket Restaurant and Tavern in Orchard Town Center (14613 Orchard Pkwy.) for lunch, dinner, or a snack. On this day, 15% of your bill* accompanied by the certificate below will be donated to Shadow ridge Middle School. (Advisory teachers will be handing out fliers to the students)
Attention Shadow Ridge students. The 6th annual Dodgeball Tournament is quickly approaching. The Dodge Bowl is a tournament style event where teams will compete to be titled the best dodge ballers. The tournament is on Thursday January 31st right after school. You must have a team and liability form filled out to participate. See one of the P.E. teachers for more information. This is a free event and welcome parents and guardians to come and watch the fun!

Padres de Familia/Tutores
Necesitamos su ayuda para proteger a todos nuestros estudiantes, a la hora que los dejan y también cuando los recogen de la escuela. El estacionamiento norte de Shadow Ridge Middle está designado para que los padres lo use para dejar y recoger estudiantes. El estacionamiento sur está designado para los camiones del transporte escolar asi como tambien es el estacionamiento para el personal de la escuela. Necesitamos que TODOS los vehículos de los padres de familia utilizan el estacionamiento norte y se estacionen en los espacios correspondientes y no en el “carril de la línea roja” el cual necesita estar despejado para casos de emergencia. No se estacione en el “carril de la línea roja” porque se hace un congestionamiento de carros hasta la calle Holly. GRACIAS por su apoyo para que Shadow Ridge sea una escuela segura! Gracias por hacer que su estudiante esté al día en su proyecto de la Feria de Ciencias. En este punto, deben tener su propósito por escrito en su documento digital. La próxima fecha de entrega será el miércoles, 6 de febrero, cuando la información acerca de los antecedentes deben estar escritos en su documento.

Los estudiantes pueden traer dinero a su clase de advisory para apoyar y ayuda a la sociedad de la leucemia y linfoma. La clase de advisory que recaude más dinero, ganará un almuerzo de Olive Garden. Por favor ayudarnos a apoyar esta noble causa y llegar a nuestra meta de recaudar $2.500.
Todos los amigos, familiares y simpatizantes de Shadow Ridge Middle School están invitados a participar en su evento de recaudación de fondos en martes, 29 de enero de 2019. Todos están invitados a reunirse en Rusty Bucket Restaurant and Tavern en Orchard Town (14613 Orchard Pkwy) para comer el almuerzo, cena o un snack. Este día, se donará a Shadow Ridge Middle el 15% de su facture acompañado por un volante que los maestros de advisory repartirán a los estudiantes)
Atención estudiantes de Shadow Ridge. La fecha para el 6to torneo annual Dodge Bowl se está acercando. El Dodge Bowl es un evento de estilo donde los equipos competirán para ser titulado los mejores dodge ballers. El torneo es el jueves 31 de enero, después de la escuela. Debe tener una forma de equipo y responsabilidad para participar. Por favor vea a uno de los maestros de P.E. para obtener más información. Este es un evento gratuito y los padres de familia están bienvenidos a disfrutar la diversión!
