Please stop by the book fair at Shadow Ridge Library!
The fall book fair is the library’s biggest fundraiser, and profits from it allow us to add many books for our school’s library. The book fair begins on October 3rd and runs through October 11th. We will be open during school hours and have extended hours on the evenings of conferences, October 10th and 11th, when we will be open from 5:00-7:30.

Topic: Fall Back into Reading
As part of our Fall Back into Reading program each student has been gifted an independent reading book from the Fall Back into Reading Book Selection in their reading class. Independent reading is critical to student growth and achievement. We encourage you to support your student in their reading by asking them about their book and reminding them to read at home. Many thanks for your support in this endeavor!
Parents and Guardians,
Nutrition Services at Shadow Ridge Middle School will serving breakfast in the school cafeteria. The breakfast will run from 8-8:20 a.m. before school. The price of breakfast is $1.80 unless the student is receiving free or reduced meals. If the student is receiving free or reduced meals, the breakfast will be served to that student at no cost. This breakfast program is being piloted at Shadow Ridge for a few months prior to implementing it on a full-time basis or not serving breakfast, based on the demand. We want all of our students to have the opportunity to eat before school, this will assist students to focus on learning.

Milk Caps for Moola!
Shadow Ridge is teaming up with Longmont Dairy to raise $$ money for our the SRMS Special Education department! The money will go towards 2 Chromebook carts with a total of 20 Chromebooks for students with disabilities. Bring your Longmont Dairy Milk and OJ caps to the front office. Thank you for your contribution!
Parents: Shadow Ridge Middle School participates in the programs "Box Tops for Education". Many of the food and household items that families purchase have these coupons or emblems on the sides of boxes or wrappers of the item. Please send any of these box tops to SRMS with your student. There is a turn in box in the main office. All of these items turned in mean dollars for SRMS. Thanks for your participation.
We would like to thank those parents who have donated box tops to our school! So far we have raised $50 for Shadow Ridge Middle School! Please keep up that good work clipping box tops!

Por favor venga a la feria del libro en la biblioteca de shadow Ridge! La Feria de otoño nos da la mayor recaudación de fondos para la biblioteca, y con las ganancias nos permiten comprar muchos libros para nuestra biblioteca escolar. La feria del libro será del 3 de octubre hasta el 11 de octubre. La biblioteca estará abierta durante el horario escolar y durante los días de conferencias, el 10 de octubre y 11, estaremos abiertos de 5:00-7:30 pm.

Tema: Regresar a la lectura
Como parte de nuestro programa Fall Back to Reading, cada alumno ha recibido un libro de lectura independiente para su clase de lectura. La lectura independiente es crítica para el crecimiento y el aprovechamiento del estudiante. Le recomendamos que apoye a su alumno en su lectura preguntándole sobre su libro y recordando que lea en casa. ¡Muchas gracias por su apoyo en este esfuerzo!

Los servicios de nutrición en Shadow Ridge Middle School servirán desayuno en la cafetería de la escuela. El desayuno será de 8-8:20 antes de la escuela. El precio del desayuno es de $1.80 pero si el estudiantes recibir comidas gratis o reducidas no tendrá ningún costo. Este programa de desayuno será un programa piloto en Shadow Ridge durante unos meses. Si hay demanda se implementará de tiempo completo y si no hay demanda se suspenderá el programa de desayunos. Queremos que todos nuestros estudiantes tengan la oportunidad de comer antes de la escuela, esto ayudará a los alumnos a centrarse en el aprendizaje.

¡Tapas de leche para Moola!
Shadow Ridge está asociándose con lácteos de Longmont para recaudar $$ dinero para nuestro Departamento de Educación Especial de SRMS! El dinero recaudado será para comprar 2 carros con 20 Chromebooks para los estudiantes con discapacidades. Traiga sus tapas de leche y jugo de Longmont lácteos a la oficina. ¡Gracias por su apoyo!
Familia: Shadow Ridge Middle School participa en el programa “Box Tops para la educación”. Muchos de los artículos de comida y hogar que las familias compran tienen estos cupones o emblemas a los lados de las cajas o en las envolturas de los productos. En la oficina principal hay un lugar donde puede depositar cada uno de los cupones o emblemas. Estos cupones se convierten en dinero para SRMS.
Nos gustaría agradecer a aquellos padres que han donado box tops a nuestra escuela! ¡Hasta ahora hemos recaudado $50 para Shadow Ridge Middle School! Por favor sigan con ese buen trabajo recorte más Box Tops!
