Hello Shadow Ridge Parents and Guardians!!!!
Here are the announcements for the week of September 3rd
Parents and Guardians,
Nutrition Services at Shadow Ridge Middle School will serving breakfast in the school cafeteria. The breakfast will run from 8-8:20 a.m. before school. The price of breakfast is $1.80 unless the student is receiving free or reduced meals. If the student is receiving free or reduced meals, the breakfast will be served to that student at no cost. This breakfast program is being piloted at Shadow Ridge for a few months prior to implementing it on a full-time basis or not serving breakfast, based on the demand. We want all of our students to have the opportunity to eat before school, this will assist students to focus on learning.

RAM Time offers students a quiet place to work on homework as well as have access to computers to complete assignments.

8th grade students and families interested in this year's Washington DC trip over spring break, there will be an information meeting, Tuesday, September 11 at 6pm in the Shadow Ridge Library. Come learn about the details of the trip. We will also be starting a fundraiser that night as well. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Shock.
Parents: Shadow Ridge Middle School participates in the programs "Box Tops for Education". Many of the food and household items that families purchase have these coupons or emblems on the sides of boxes or wrappers of the item. Please send any of these box tops to SRMS with your student. There is a turn in box in the main office. All of these items turned in mean dollars for SRMS. Thanks for your participation.

Los servicios de nutrición en Shadow Ridge Middle School servirán desayuno en la cafetería de la escuela. El desayuno será de 8-8:20 antes de la escuela. El precio del desayuno es de $1.80 pero si el estudiantes recibir comidas gratis o reducidas no tendrá ningún costo. Este programa de desayuno será un programa piloto en Shadow Ridge durante unos meses. Si hay demanda se implementará de tiempo completo y si no hay demanda se suspenderá el programa de desayunos. Queremos que todos nuestros estudiantes tengan la oportunidad de comer antes de la escuela, esto ayudará a los alumnos a centrarse en el aprendizaje.

Alumnos y familias de octavo grado que estén interesados en ir a Washington DC durante las vacaciones de primavera. Habrá una junta informativa el martes, septiembre 11 a las 6:00 pm en la biblioteca de Shadow Ridge. Venga y enterese de los detalles del viaje.
