Week of Aug 22

Hello Shadow Ridge Parents and Guardians!!!!

Here are the announcements for the week of August 22^nd

Ram Time will start Tuesday, September 6th.  Ram Time takes place in the Shadow Ridge library and is a quiet place where students can work on school work.  Computers are available.  Hours for Ram Time are:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday

Before School:  7:30 am - 8:20 am

After School:  3:45 pm - 4:45 pm

Back to School Night for only 7^th and 8^th grade students and parents, is Tuesday, August 23^rd,  information will be sent home with your student this week.

If your 8th grade student is interested in travelling to Washington D.C. this Spring Break, there will be an introductory meeting on Monday August 29th at 5:30 pm in the Shadow Ridge Library. The first part of the meeting will go over all the trip details and the second half will go over fundraising.   If you are already registered for the trip you do not need to arrive until 6:00 pm.  If you have any questions about the trip please email Mr. Smith.

Parents:  Shadow Ridge Middle School participates in the programs "Box Tops for Education" and "Labels for Education". Many of the food and household items that families purchase have these coupons or emblems on the sides of boxes or wrappers of the item. Please send any of these box tops or labels to SRMS with your student.  There is a turn in box for each type in the main office.  All of these items turned in mean dollars for SRMS.

Estás son las noticias de la semana de Agosto 22

Ram Time empezara el martes 6 de septiembre.  Ram Time se lleva a cabo en la biblioteca de Shadow Ridge la cual  es un lugar tranquilo donde los estudiantes pueden realizar el trabajo de la escuela. Las computadoras están disponibles.  El horario es el siguiente.

Lunes, martes, jueves y viernes

Antes de la escuela: 7:30 am -8:20

Después de la escuela 3:45-4:45 pm

La noche de regreso a la escuela es el martes, 23 de agosto, su estudiante llevara la información sobre el evento  esta semana.

Si su estudiante del grado 8 está  interesado en viajar a Washington D.C. durante las vacaciones de primavera, el lunes 29 de Agosto tendremos una junta a las 5:30 pm en la biblioteca de la escuela. En la primera parte de la junta hablaremos acerca de todos los detalles del viaje y en la segunda parte hablaremos de la manera de como recaudar fondos para el viaje.  Si ya están registrados para el viaje pueden llegar a la junta a las 6:00 pm. Si tiene preguntas acerca del viaje por favor mande un correo electrónico a Mr. Smith.

Padres de Familia: Shadow Ridge Middle School participa en el programa “Box Tops para la educación” y etiquetas para la educación.  Muchos de los artículos de comida y hogar que las familias compran tienen estos cupones o emblemas a los lados de las cajas o en las envolturas de los productos.  En la oficina principal hay un lugar donde puede depositar cada uno de los cupones o emblemas.  Estos cupones se convierten en dinero para SRMS.

No Habra clases el 5 de septiembre, día del trabajo.
