Week of March 14th

Hello Shadow Ridge Parents and Guardians!
Here are the announcements for the week of March 14th:

A message from Mr. Ager, PE teacher:
Flag football will be starting at the end of this month. If your student has participated in intramural soccer, volleyball or basketball they do not have to fill out a form. If they have not participated in any of the sports have them stop by and see me for the parent permission sheet. The students can either form their own team of 5-7 players or they can come to me as a free agent and I will put them on the team. I understand this is the time of year for sports outside of Shadow Ridge but I would still love to see your student participate whenever they can. We will be meeting on Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays from 4-5:15 starting on March 28th.

PARCC testing is around the corner. Parents please do not schedule any appointments during our testing times. Students, be sure to get plenty of rest the night before, eat a healthy breakfast, and be on time for school.

Shadow Ridge Middle School participates in the programs "Box Tops for Education" and "Labels for Education". Many of the food and household items that families purchase have these coupons or emblems on the sides of boxes or wrappers of the item. Please send any of these box tops or labels to SRMS with your student. There is a turn in box for each type in the main office. All of these items turned in mean dollars for SRMS. Thanks for you participation!!

Un mensaje por parte del maestro de educación física Adam Ager:
Fútbol Americano con banderas que es una forma más suave del fútbol Americano será a partir de finales de este mes. Si el estudiante ha participado en el fútbol intramuros, voleibol o baloncesto, no tienen que llenar un formulario. Si no han participado en alguno de los deportes, por favor de ponerse en contacto con el maestro por la hoja de autorización de los padres.
