Hello Shadow Ridge Parents and Guardians!
Here are the announcements for the week of September 14th:

A special message from Miss Wickham
Thursday, October 1st is the official count day for funding. Please make sure your student is in school on Thursday. If a student has an appointment, please have the student attend at least half of the day. Call regarding any questions. Thank you for supporting our school and having your child at SRMS on Thursday, October 1st for the count day!

RAMS RECOVERY TIME – Help us help your child and improve his/her achievement. Teachers will be available the first and third Wednesday of every month from 2:20-3:00 p.m. in individual classrooms for assessment make-ups and help. Transportation will not be provided. Students will need to make transportation arrangements with their parents/guardians.

Help Wanted! Earn while your children learn! It is a great job for parents that need to be home with school-aged children. Shadow Ridge Kitchen currently has 2 Cook-Cashier positions available, 3 to 4 hours a day from approximately 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., $10.30 to $14.66 per hour with qualifying experience.

Shadow Ridge's first Community Night is on Tuesday, September 15th. Community Night takes place in the library, from 5:30 - 6:30 pm. Topics that will be discussed during our first meeting will be Infinite Campus, Library and technology resources at Shadow Ridge. Babysitting will be available.

The annual Shadow Ridge Carnival will be held on Friday, September 18th from 4-6:45 PM. Join us for carnival games, food, a giant inflatable obstacle course and more! You can even dunk your favorite teacher in the dunk tank! Wristbands cost $10 and include unlimited fun (food is extra). We look forward to seeing you here!

Shadow Ridge Middle School participates in the programs "Box Tops for Education" and "Labels for Education". Many of the food and household items that families purchase have these coupons or emblems on the sides of boxes or wrappers of the item. Please send any of these box tops or labels to SRMS with your student. There is a turn in box for each type in the main office. All of these items turned in represent dollars for SRMS. Thank you for you participation.

El jueves 1 de octubre es el día oficial de la cuenta para nuestra financiación. Por favor, asegúrese de que su hijo este en la escuela el primero de octubre. Si el estudiante tiene una cita, por favor, que el estudiante asista al menos la mitad del día. Llame respecto a cualquier pregunta. El martes 15 de septiembre de las 5:30pm-6:30pm es nuestra primera noche de la communidad de la escuela para este año escolar. Usted está invitado a la junta en la biblioteca de la escuela para hablar sobre temas como nuestros recursos del plan de mejora la Escuela, Infinite Campus, y de la tecnología disponible en la biblioteca. Cuidado de niños estará disponible gratis.

El carnaval de la escuela se celebrará el viernes 18 de septiembre 4-6: 45 PM. Ven y disfruten de los juegos de carnaval, comida, una carrera de obstáculos inflable y mucho más! Incluso puede mojar su maestro preferido en el tanque de agua! Las pulseras cuestan $10 e incluyen todos los diversiónes sin límite. La comida es extra. ¡Esperamos contar con ustedes!

Guarde los Box Tops para la educación y las etiquetas de sopa Campbells. Los estudiantes pueden colocarlos en una caja en la oficina principal. Estas etiquetas de sopa Campbells y Box Tops nos ganan dinero para la escuela. Gracias por su participación!
