Hello Shadow Ridge Parents and Guardians!
Here are the announcements for the week of August 31st

Thank you for your patience during the widening of Holly Street. The student drop off lane on the west side of Holly Street is still open. This drop off lane is referred to as the Hug and Go lane. Parents can pull up in this lane and drop off students on a sidewalk which connects to the Shadow Ridge sidewalk. You may either use the Hug and Go lane or continue to use the north lot to drop off or pick up your student, the south lot is designated for school buses only.
Again, thank your patience through this major construction.

Be a part of the team that creates a book of RAMS memories! Take pictures, interview students and staff and make a book of the history of 2015-2016, here at Shadow Ridge. ALL GRADES LEVELS are WELCOME! We meet on Mondays and Thursdays from 3:50- 5pm. Be sure to arrange transportation home if you ride the bus!

Any 8th grade student wanting to travel to Washington DC over spring break this year should attend an introductory meeting on Tuesday September 1st at 5:30 pm in the Shadow Ridge library. Students who are already signed up for the trip can arrive at 6:00pm. Please contact Mr. Smith if you have any questions.

No school Monday, September 7th Labor Day Holiday.

Ram Time will start Tuesday, September 8th. Ram Time takes place in the Shadow Ridge library and is a quiet place where students can work on school work. Computers are available. Hours for Ram Time are:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
Before School: 7:30 am - 8:20 am
After School: 3:45 pm - 4:45 pm

Tuesday, September 15th, is our first Shadow Ridge Community Night for this year. You are invited to join us in the library as we talk about our School Improvement Plan, Infinite Campus, technology and library resources available at Shadow Ridge. Community Night takes place in the library and is from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Free babysitting will be available.

The annual Shadow Ridge Carnival will be held on Friday, September 18th from 4-6:45 PM. Join us for carnival games, food, a giant inflatable obstacle course and more! You can even dunk your favorite teacher in the dunk tank! Wristbands cost $10 and include unlimited fun. Food is extra. We look forward to seeing you here!

Estos son los anuncios para la semana del 31 de agosto:

Gracias por su paciencia durante el ensanchamiento de la calle Holly. El carril para dejar su estudiante que esta oeste de Holly se conoce como el carril para dar el abrazo y pronto salir del automovil –Hug and Go Lane sigue abierto. Usted puede utilizar tambien el lote norte para dejar o levantar a su estudiante. El lote sur es designado solo para los autobuses escolares.Una vez más, gracias a su paciencia a través de esta construcción importante.

Sea parte del equipo que crea un libro de recuerdos! Tomen fotos y hacen entrevistas con los estudiantes y maestros para hacer el libro de la historia de 2015-2016 de la escuela. TODOS LOS GRADOS son BIENVENIDOS! Las juntas comenzaran a las 3:50pm y terminaran a las 5pm todos los lunes y jueves. El transporte no sera proporcionado.

Cualquier estudiante del octavo grado que quieran viajar a Washington DC durante las vacaciones de primavera de este año escolar debe asistir a una junta el martes 1 de septiembre a las 5:30 pm en la biblioteca de la escuela. Los estudiantes que ya se inscribieron para el viaje puede llegar a las 6:00 pm. Por favor, póngase en contacto con el Sr. Smith si tiene alguna pregunta.

No hay clases el lunes 7 de septiembre por ser el Día del Trabajador.

Ram Time comenzara el martes 8 de septiembre. Se lleva a cabo en la biblioteca de la escuela todos los dias menos los miercoles antes de clases 7:30 am - 8:20am y despues de clases 3:45-4:45pm. Ram Time ofrece un lugar tranquilo donde los estudiantes pueden terminar las tareas o usar las computadoras .

El martes 15 de septiembre de las 5:30pm-6:30pm es nuestra primera noche de la communidad de la escuela para este año escolar. Usted está invitado a la junta en la biblioteca de la escuela para hablar sobre temas como nuestros recursos del plan de mejora la Escuela, Infinite Campus, y de la tecnología disponible en la biblioteca. Cuidado de niños estará disponible gratis.

El carnaval de la escuela se celebrará el viernes 18 de septiembre 4-6: 45 PM. Ven y disfruten de los juegos de carnaval, comida, una carrera de obstáculos inflable y mucho más! Incluso puede mojar su maestro preferido en el tanque de agua! Las pulseras cuestan $10 e incluyen todos los diversiónes sin límite. La comida es extra. ¡Esperamos contar con ustedes!
