Week of May 4th

Hello Shadow Ridge Parents and Guardians!
Here are the announcements for the week of May 4th:

End of the year PARCC testing schedule for 7th Grade is Monday, May 4th and Tuesday, May 5th. Parents please do not schedule any appointments during our testing times. Students be sure to get plenty of rest the night before, eat a healthy breakfast and be on time for school. Happy Testing !

If your student is interested in travelling to Washington DC as an 8th grader next year and you were unable to attend the Introductory meeting, please visit the school website under the “Students” tab and then “Clubs and Activities” link then to “Washington DC Trip” link or contact Mr. Smith for all trip and registration information.

The 7th, 8th grade and Jazz band concert scheduled for Tuesday, May 12th has been rescheduled. The new date is Monday, May 11th. The start time is still at 6:45. A note with more details was handed out to band students last week.

Los estudiantes que asegúresen de descansar lo suficiente la noche anterior, comen un desayuno saludable y llegan a la escuela a tiempo.

Si su hijo está en septimo grado y esta interesado en viajar a Washington DC para el próximo año y no pudo asistir a la junta, por favor visite el sitio web de la escuela bajo la etiqueta de "estudiantes" y luego el enlace "Clubs y Actividades" y luego el enlace "Washington DC" o póngase en contacto con el Sr. Smith para toda la información del viaje y el registro.

El concierto de la banda de jazz y la banda del séptimo y octavo grado que iba ser para el martes 12 de mayo ha sido reprogramado. La nueva fecha es el lunes 11 de mayo a las 6:45pm. Una nota con más detalles fue entregado a los estudiantes de banda la semana pasada.
