Here are the announcements for the week of April 13th:
CMAS testing will be held in mid-April. Students will be tested unless the student is absent or parent has signed the opt out form prior to the test.
Schedule for CMAS testing
8th Grade- CMAS Science
Tuesday, April 14th and Wednesday, April 15th
7th Grade- CMAS Social Studies
Thursday, April 16th and Friday, April 17th
Parents please do not schedule any appointments during our testing times. Students be sure to get plenty of rest the night before, eat a healthy breakfast and be on time for school. Happy Testing!
Spring Play “This is Just to Say” by Julia C. Bond is on April 23rd, 24th and 25th at 7pm.
Message from the Kitchen Staff
Students who have balances or who owe charges in their lunch account at the end of the year will have that balance or charge rolled over into next year. If your student is changing schools his/her balance or charge will follow him to his new school. However, if you would like to have the balance refunded to you, please contact your kitchen manager. Refunds begin on May 12. The last day for refunds is May 26 at noon.
Be aware that your school office cannot do refunds for the Lunch Program. Please see your kitchen manager.
In order to get our financial house in order, there can be no negative balance charges as of May 5 at the MIDDLE schools and May 19 at the ELEMENTARY schools.
We have sincerely enjoyed having your student eat with us. We look forward to serving your student nutritious meals again next year. Thank you for your support of our program!
Parking Lot Procedures:
We need everyone’s cooperation with parking lot traffic. We have two parking lots. The north lot (closer to Horizon HS) is for parents to drop off and pick up their students and to park in during the day. The south lot (closer to 120th) is for the District 12 Buses to drop off and pick up students and for teachers to park in during the day. It is imperative that we have the parents drop off/pick up your students in the north lot, especially before school (from 7:45 – 8:23 a.m.) and after school (from 3:23 – 3:45 p.m.).

Estos son los anuncios para la semana del 13 de abril:
Las pruebas CMAS se llavara a cabo a mediados de abril. Los estudiantes seran evaluados a menos que el estudiante este ausente o el padre haya firmado el formulario de exclusion antes de la prueba.
Este es el horario para las pruebas de CMAS:
El octavo grado tomara CMAS de Ciencia el martes 14 de abril y el miércoles 15 de abril. EL séptimo grado tomara CMAS de Estudios Sociales el jueves 16 de abril y el viernes 17 de abril.
Padres, por favor no programan las citas durante estos dias de pruebas. Estudiantes asegúrese de descansar lo suficiente la noche anterior, de comer un desayuno saludable y llegar a tiempo a escuela.
La obra de primavera "Esto es sólo para decir" por Julia C. Bond es el 23, 24 y 25 de abril a las 7 pm.
Un mensaje del personal de la cocina:
Los estudiantes que tienen saldos o que deben dinero en su cuenta de almuerzo al final del año escolar tendrán ese saldo o cargo en su cuenta para el próximo año escolar. Si su hijo está cambiando escuelas su saldo o cargo lo seguirán a su escuela nueva. Sin embargo, si usted quisiera que su saldo reembolsado, por favor póngase en contacto con la oficina de la cocina. Los reembolsos comienzan el 12 de mayo. El último día de los reembolsos es el 26 de mayo a mediodía.
Tenga en cuenta que la oficina de la escuela no puede hacer los reembolsos.
En poner nuestra casa financiera en orden, no puede haber cargos negativo empezando el 5 de mayo en las escuelas intermedias y el 19 de mayo en las escuelas primarias.

El lote sur cerca de 120 es para los autobuses del distrito y para los maestros. Es imperativo que los padres usen el estacionamiento norte, sobre todo antes y después de la escuela.
