Here are the announcements for the week of January 19th:
No School Monday January 19th, Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday
Reminder to parents of students who won the chance to compete in the school spelling bee: The Shadow Ridge spelling bee will be held on Thursday, January 22nd at 6pm sharp in the Shadow Ridge cafeteria. The top three winners from this bee will advance to the district spelling bee, which will be held at Northglenn High School on Tuesday, February 17th at 5:00 pm. (Note: The date for the district bee has been changed and this is the new date.)

Our last Community Night will be Tuesday, February 24th. Our elective teachers will be presenting. Community Night takes places in the library from 5:30 - 6:30. Free babysitting will be available.
RAM Time offers students a quiet place to work on homework as well as have access to computers to complete assignments. Located in the library on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays before school 7:30-8:15 and after school 3:35-4:45. No RAM Time on Wednesdays.
RAMS RECOVERY TIME – Help us help your child and improve his/her achievement. Teachers will be available the first, second, and third Wednesday of the month from 2:20-3:00 p.m. in individual classrooms for assessment make-ups and help. Transportation will not be provided. Students will need to make transportation arrangements with their parents/guardians. GO RAMS!

Un mensaje para los padres de estudiantes que van a competir en el concurso de ortografía de la escuela: El concurso de ortografía se llevará a cabo el jueves 22 de enero a las 6pm en la cafetería. Los tres ganadores de este concurso de ortografía avanzarán a la competencia del distrito, que se llevará a cabo en Northglenn High School el martes 17 de febrero a las 5pm. (Esta es la nueva fecha.)
Las próximas Conferencias para los padres son el miércoles, 11 de febrero –
5:00-8:00 y el jueves 12 de febrero de la 1 -3: 30 pm y 4:30 -7: 30 pm
No hay clases el jueves, 12 de febrero y el viernes 13 de febrero.
No hay clases el lunes, 16 de febrero por ser Día de los Presidentes.
La última noche de la Comunidad será el martes 24 de febrero en la biblioteca de 5:30-6:30. Nuestros maestros electivos estarán presentando. Cuidado de niños estará disponible gratis.
Ram Time ofrece a los estudiantes un lugar tranquilo para terminar las tareas y tener acceso a las computadoras. Se encuentra en la biblioteca todos los días menos los miércoles antes de la escuela a las 7:30 am a las 8:15 am y después de clases a las 3:45-4:45pm.
RAMS RECOVERY TIME: Ayúdanos ayudar a los estudiantes a mejorar su rendimiento académico. Los maestros estarán disponibles el primer, segundo y tercer miércoles de cada mes de las 2:20pm-3:00pm en sus aulas para retomar examenes o cualquier otra pregunta o ayuda. El transporte no será proporcionado. Los estudiantes tendrán que hacer los arreglos de transporte con sus padres.
