Hello Shadow Ridge Parents and Guardians!
Here are the announcements for the week of February 2nd

If your student is participating in Battle of the Books, there will be a meeting for all participants on Thursday, February 5, from 3:45 to 4:20 in classroom C214. Please encourage your child to attend so he/she can practice competing for the Battle of the Books championship to be held in May.

Good luck to SRMS Math Counts team members and teachers (Ms. Burch and Ms. Martineau) at their upcoming District Finals NEXT Saturday, February 7th 11:20am @ Rocky Top. If you want to see a great challenge and powerful minds in math at work they would love to see you there! LET'S GO RAMS!!!

Our last Community Night will be Tuesday, February 24th. Our elective teachers will be presenting. Community Night takes places in the library from 5:30 - 6:30. Free babysitting will be available.

RAM Time offers students a quiet place to work on homework as well as have access to computers to complete assignments. It is located in the library every day but Wednesdays before school 7:30-8:15 and after school 3:35-4:45.

Parents we have noticed an increasingly large number of students being dropped off at school at a very early hour. Unfortunately, staff members are not available for supervision until 8:14 a. m. each morning. Unless your student has made prior arrangements to meet with a teacher, is attending a club meeting or is going to RAM TIME, offered on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings at 7:30 a. m., please do not drop off your students prior to 8:14 a. m. Students that are dropped off at the school prior to this time will be unsupervised. Please help us to continue making our environment safe for all our students.

Estos son los anuncios para la semana del 2 de febrero:

Si su hijo está participando en la Batalla de los Libros, hay una junta para todos los participantes el jueves 5 de febrero de 3:45-4:20pm en el aula C214. Por favor anime a su hijo/hija a asistir para que él / ella puede practicar para la competición en mayo.

Buena suerte a los miembros del club Math Counts y las maestras Sra. Burch y Srita. Martineau en su próximo competición finales del distrito el siguiente sábado 7 de febrero a las 11:20am en Rocky Top. Si quieres ver un gran reto y mentes poderosas en matemáticas asiste a la competencia!

No hay clases el jueves, 12 de febrero y el viernes 13 de febrero.
No hay clases el lunes, 16 de febrero por ser Día de los Presidentes. 

La última noche de la Comunidad será el martes 24 de febrero en la biblioteca de 5:30-6:30. Nuestros maestros electivos estarán presentando. Cuidado de niños estará disponible gratis.

Ram Time ofrece a los estudiantes un lugar tranquilo para terminar las tareas y tener acceso a las computadoras. Se encuentra en la biblioteca todos los días menos los miércoles antes de la escuela a las 7:30 am a las 8:15 am y después de clases a las 3:45-4:45pm.

Padres, hemos notado un bastante numero de estudiantes que llegan demasiado temprano a la escuela. Por desgracia, la supervisión no está disponibles hasta 8:14 cada mañana. A menos que su estudiante ha hecho arreglos previos con un maestro, va asistir una junta del club o va a RAM TIME, que se ofrece en las mañanas menos los miercoles a las 7:30 am, por favor no deje a sus estudiante antes de las 8:14 am. Los estudiantes que estan presente antes de esta hora serán sin supervisión. Por favor ayúdenos a seguir haciendo nuestro ambiente seguro para todos nuestros estudiantes.
