Health Alert
Attention Parents and Guardians of SRMS:
Health Alert: A letter was sent home on Thursday, May 8th, regarding an infectious respiratory illness here at Shadow Ridge. Please ask your student to share this letter, which contains important information. Please remind your student to cover their cough and to wash their hands often. This letter could be found on Shadow Ridge web page under parents.

Week of May 12th

Buy One, Get One Free Book Fair will take place on Monday, May 12th, Tuesday, May 13th and Wednesday, May 14th during school hours. Don’t miss out this is a great way to encourage summer reading.
The end of the school year is fast approaching and we still have many students with library books checked out. Parents, will you please remind your student to get all library books returned as soon as possible?
The last date for RAMS RECOVERY TIME is Wednesday, May 14th. It is after school where teachers are available to tutor students or where students can retake assessments.
Thursday May 22nd is last day of school for 8th grade 8:30-3:45pm. No school for 6th and 7th grade on Thursday May 22nd. Friday May 23rd is last day of school for 6th and 7th grade 8:30-12:00.
The yearbook is coming soon, and we don’t want your child to miss out on this fun event.There are approximately 1100 students at Shadow Ridge. If you missed the introductory meeting for the 2015 8th grade Washington D.C. trip you can find all the information that you need on the Shadow Ridge Website. Click on the Washington DC Trip 2015 link on the left side. If you have any other questions contact Mr. Smith.
Parents, if you have been having trouble accessing the Campus Mobile App, it has been fixed. You'll need to open the app and click the refresh button in the top left corner to update the data.
Children’s Hospital Colorado and Adams 12 Five Star Schools have teamed up to offer free comprehensive athletic physicals. Our goal is to provide every student in Adams 12 Five Star Schools the opportunity to receive a general medical exam, an efficient orthopedic assessment, and a thorough cardiovascular evaluation. It will take place at Legacy High School - 2701 West 136th Avenue in Broomfield on Saturday, May 17, 2014 from 7 am – 5 pm. Registration began April 15, 2014. Box Tops for Education and Campbell's Soup Labels can bring in money for Shadow Ridge Middle School!!! Anytime you find either Box Tops for Education or Campbell's soup labels on various products at home in your cupboard, pantry or refrigerator, clip or tear these off and send them to school with your child. There is a box in our school office where students and parents can drop them off. Thanks for your participation!

Nuestro objetivo es proporcionar a todos los alumnos de Adams 12 Five Star la oportunidad de recibir un examen médico general, un evaluación ortopédica eficiente y una evaluación cardiovascular completa. End of Year - Unpaid Fees
Parents,
As we come to the end of the school year, we have students that have unpaid fees. These fees, if not paid, will be carried forward onto the student for the 14/15 school year. Please check the statis of your student, if he/she has outstanding fees. You can pay online, https://www.Payforit.net or you can drop by the school and pay with cash, check or credit card. Thank you

The last 2 dates for RAMS RECOVERY TIME are Wednesday, May 7th and Wednesday, May 14th. It is after school where teachers are available to tutor students or where students can retake assessments.
Last day for Ram Time will be Friday, May 9th. Ram Time takes place at the school library, provides a quiet place to work on assignments, and have access to the computers.

Remember if you shop, eat or see a movie at the Orchard bring your receipts in to the office and we will take them to the Orchard for you. We will return your receipts to you. Shadow Ridge receives 5 points for every $1.00 spent. At the end of the school year we will earn a share of $15,000 which will be used to purchase items for student and classroom use. Thank you

Recuerde que si usted hace compras o come o ve una película en el Orchard Town Center trae sus recibos a la oficina principal. Nosotros llevaremos los recibos al Orchard. Luego regresamos los recibos. La escuela recibe 5 puntos por cada $1 gastado.
