Here are the announcements for the week of February 3rd

If the Bronco's win, SRMS wins too! Wear your favorite Bronco gear on
Monday, February3rd IF the Bronco's win the Super Bowl. The Broncos
have to win for SRMS to celebrate! AGAIN, IF the Broncos win, SRMS
will be able to wear Bronco's clothing on Monday, February 3rd.

Saturday School is a quiet place where your student can work on homework or have access to computers in our school library. The hours are 9:00 am until noon. The next Saturday School will be February 8th. This is a good time to work on Science Fair project.

RAMS RECOVERY TIME – Help us help your child and improve his/her academic achievement. Teachers will be available the first, second, and third Wednesday of the month from 2:20-3:00 p.m. in individual classrooms for assessment make-ups and help. Transportation will not be provided. Students will need to make transportation arrangements with their parents/guardians.

RAM Time offers students a quiet place to work on homework and have access to computers in our school library. It is held every day except Wednesdays before and after school.

Si los Broncos ganan el Super Bowl el domingo, SRMS gana también! Los estudiantes tienen permiso de usar ropa de Bronco el lunes, 3 de febrero.

Nuestra próxima escuela de sábado es el sábado, 8 de febrero de las 9am hasta el mediodía en la biblioteca de la escuela. Es un tiempo dedicado a terminar tareas y tener acceso a computadoras. Este es un buen tiempo para trabajar en el reporte para la feria de ciencias.

Estos son importantes plazos:
05 de febrero: informar de materiales y procedimientos
12 de febrero: pide ayuda al maestro(a) de matemáticas y ciencias si es necesario
19 de febrero: reportar los resultados, la conclusion, el reflexión, los reconocimientos, y la tabla de contenidos
21 de febrero: Tablero de exhibición, presentaciones orales 02:15-3:45

Las Conferencias se llevará a cabo en la noche del miércoles, 12 de febrero a las 5pm hasta las 7pm y el jueves, 13 de febrero a las 5pm hasta las 8pm. Si hay clases para los estudiantes en el dia el miercoles y el jueves.

No hay escuela el viernes, 14 de febrero y el lunes, 17 de febrero (Día del Presidente).

Este es un TIEMPO DE RECUPERACIÓN- Ayúdanos, a ayudar a los estudiantes a mejorar su rendimiento académico. Los maestros estarán disponibles el primer, segundo y tercer miércoles de cada mes de las 2:20pm-3:00pm en sus salones para retomar examenes o cualquier otra pregunta. El transporte no será proporcionado. Los estudiantes tendrán que hacer los arreglos de transporte con sus padres.

Ram Time ofrece a los estudiantes un lugar tranquilo para terminar la tarea y tener acceso a las computadoras. Se encuentra en la biblioteca todos los días menos los miércoles antes de las clases a las 7:30 am a las 8:15 am y después de las clases a las 3:45-4:45.

Week of Jan 13th

Hello Shadow Ridge Parents and Guardians!
Here are the announcements for the week of January 13th

All students at SR are working on a science project for the Science Fair taking place on February 21st. Science teachers distributed packets to assist the students throughout the whole process. The first deadline is from January 10th to 14th in which the Participation Form, Topic Chosen, and Purpose Statement is due. On January 15th the Title Page for the written report is due.

Our next Community Night is Tuesday, January 14th, from 5:30 - 6:30, in the library. Our Elective teachers will be presenting. Babysitting will be available.

If your child has advanced to the school spelling bee, please go to the Shadow Ridge website and click on the "Parents" link at the left hand side of the page. Under that link, you will find a link for the practice spelling words. The Shadow Ridge Spelling Bee will be held on January 16 at 6:00 pm in the Shadow Ridge Middle School cafetorium.

Give Kids a Smile Day is a day organized by the Colorado Dental Association every February.
To qualify for a Give Kids a Smile Day appointment, your child/family must meet ALL 5 of the following criteria.
1. The child needing an appointment must be 17 years old or younger.
2. Your family must be low-income and unable to afford dental care.
3. Your child must be dentally uninsured (no dental insurance or
CHP+ coverage).
4. You must have transportation to get to your appointment.
5. You must be able to show-up at your appointment on time.
If you are a match with the 5 requirements above, we welcome you to
participate in Give Kids a Smile Day. Please remember that appointments
are first-come, first-served. When making an appointment, please say
that you are "calling to make an appointment for Give Kids a Smile Day."

Los maestros de ciencias distribuyeron paquetes para ayudar a los estudiantes a lo largo de todo el proceso. El primer plazo es de 10 a 14 de enero para el Formulario de Participación, tema elegido, y su declaración de propósito. El 15 de enero se debe la página de título para el reporte.

Nuestra próxima Noche de la Comunidad es el martes, 14 de enero, de las 5:30pm hasta las 6:30pm, en la biblioteca. Nuestros maestros electivos estarán presentando. Cuidado de niños estará disponible.

Give Kids a Smile Day es organizada por la Asociación Dental de Colorado cada febrero.
Para calificar para Give Kids a Smile Day su hijo y familia debe cumplir con todos los siguientes criterios.
1. El niño que necesita una cita debe tener 17 años de edad o menos.
2. Su familia debe ser de bajos ingresos y no pueden pagar por la atención dental.
3. Su hijo no tiene seguro dental o CHP +.
4. Debe tener transporte para llegar a su cita.
5. Usted llegara a su cita a tiempo.
Por favor, recuerde que es por orden de llegada. Cuando haga una cita, favor de decir que está llamando para hacer una cita para Give Kids a Smile Day.
