Hello Shadow Ridge Parents and Guardians!
Here are the announcements for the week of December 8th

Parents/Guardians: We are in need of volunteer judges for our second annual Science Fair. We had several parents and grandparents join us last year and would love to have you join us this year as well. A science or math background is a plus, but not a requirement because training will be provided. If you are interested and would like more information, please contact Mrs. Husic or your child's science teacher.

Shadow Ridge has started a new evidence-based attendance program at our school. We are asking parents/community members to donate items that would serve as these incentive rewards. The type of items we are looking for are: toys, sports equipment, gift cards, tickets to movies or other entertainment. If you would be able to support our students through any of these types of donations, please contact Nancy Davis, 7th grade counselor, at 720-972-5054 or you can just drop them off at the school for Ms. Davis. These donations are tax deductible; ask for a receipt when you turn them in. Thank you for supporting our students’ attendance and your students’ success!

RAMS RECOVERY will be available on December 10th from 2:20-3:00 p.m. in individual classrooms for assessment make-ups and help. Transportation will not be provided. Students will need to make transportation arrangements with their parents/guardians.

8th grade parents: please submit your baby ads for year book soon. The webpage to visit is www.theyearbookcompany.com . Deadline is December 14th.

Our Next Community Night is on Tuesday, December 16th, starting at 5:30 pm, in the library. Our Science and Math departments will be presenting. Babysitting will be available.

The counseling office is looking for some parents or community members who would be willing to volunteer at our school. If you are interested, please contact Nancy Davis, 7th grade counselor, at 720-972-5054. Any amount of time you can donate will be appreciated!

Quarter 2 ends Thursday, December 18th
No School December 19th, Teacher Duty Day.
Winter Break, December 22nd thru January 2nd
No School January 5th, In Common Release Day.

Estos son los anuncios para la semana del 8 de diciembre:

Padres / Tutores: Estamos en la necesidad de jueces voluntarios para nuestra segunda Feria de la Ciencias. Tuvimos varios padres y abuelos el año pasado y me encantaría que ustedes se presentan este año también. Un fondo de la ciencia o las matemáticas es beneficioso, pero no es un requisito porque se proporcionará formación. Si está interesado y desea obtener más información, por favor comuníquese con la Sra Husic o el maestro de ciencias de su hijo.

Shadow Ridge ha iniciado un programa nuevo de asistencia basada en la evidencia. Estamos pidiendo a los padres / miembros de la comunidad a donar artículos que servirían estas recompensas de incentivo. Nuestra próxima noche de comunidad es el martes, 16 de diciembre, a partir de las 5:30 pm, en la biblioteca. Nuestros departamentos de ciencias y matemáticas presentarán. Niñera estará disponible.

La oficina de consejería está buscando algunos padres o miembros de la comunidad que estén dispuestos a ser voluntarios.
