Hello Shadow Ridge Parents and Guardians!
Here are the announcements for the week of October 6th:

Any boy or girl interested in playing intramural volleyball should attend an informational meeting on Tuesday, October 7th from 4:00 to 4:15 in the gym. Contact Mr. Mooney with any questions

Shadow Ridge's book fair is coming! Our Scholastic Book Fair will be held starting Monday, October 6th and ending Thursday, October 9th. The book fair will be open during school hours and during conferences.

Due to conferences, there will be NO Ram Time before or after school
on Thursday, October 9th.

Quarter 1 ends Friday, October 17th

Each High School will be presenting during each of the 2 sessions.

Box Tops for Education and Campbell's Soup Labels can bring in money for Shadow Ridge Middle School!!!  Anytime you find either Box Tops for Education or Campbell's soup labels on various products at home in your cupboard, pantry or refrigerator, clip or tear these off and send them to school with your child. There is a box in our school office where students and parents can drop them off. Thanks for your participation!

Estos son los anuncios para la semana del 6 de octubre:

Cualquier estudiante interesado en jugar al voleibol intramural debería asistir a una junta informativa el martes, 07 de octubre 4-4:15 en el gimnasio. Póngase en contacto con el Sr. Mooney con cualquier pregunta.

La feria de libros se acerca! Nuestra feria de Libros se llevará a cabo a partir el lunes, 06 de octubre y termina el jueves, 09 de octubre. La feria de libros estará abierta durante el horario escolar y durante las conferencias.

Debido a las conferencias, no habrá Ram Time antes o después de la escuela
el jueves, 9 de octubre.

Primer trimestre termina el viernes, 17 de octubre.

Los estudiantes que entrarán al noveno grado a las escuelas secundarias tendran una junta en el edificio central del distrito escolar entre la calle 128 y Lafayette. Aprendan sobre los programas y conozcan a la administración y a los consejeros. Cada preparatoria estará presentando durante cada una de las 2 sesiones. El horario es

6:00 - 6:30 p.m. 1ra Sesión: Presentaciones de las Escuelas
6:40 - 7:10 p.m. 2da Sesión: Presentaciones de las Escuelas

La Feria de la Ciencias se llevara acabo el viernes, 12 de diciembre
Estos son plazos importantes:
08 de octubre hipótesis (escrito como una declaración SI ... ENTONCES ... PORQUE)
15 de octubre materiales (una lista, incluyendo las cantidades de cada material)
22 de octubre procedimientos (enumerar y describir los pasos utilizados para el proyecto)
19 de noviembre resultados / análisis de los resultados / conclusión
03 de diciembre reflexión (¿qué has aprendido de hacer este proyecto?)
05 de diciembre tablero de exhibición
8 al 11 diciembre presentaciones en las aulas
12 de diciembre Feria de la Ciencias

Guarde los Box Tops para la educación y las etiquetas de sopa Campbells. Los estudiantes pueden colocarlos en una caja en la oficina principal. Estas etiquetas de sopa Campbells y Box Tops nos ganan dinero para la escuela.
