Here are the announcements for the week of December 2nd:
RAMS RECOVERY TIME – A Golden Opportunity!!
Parents and Students,
Help us help your child and improve his/her achievement. Teachers will be available the first, second, and third Wednesday of the month from 2:20-3:00 p.m. in individual classrooms for assessment make-ups and help. All teachers will be available during the 40 minute period of time. Transportation will not be provided. Students will need to make transportation arrangements with their parents/guardians. Our goal is to assist a minimum of 300 students each Wednesday during the first three weeks of the month. We look forward to seeing over 300 students during the first three Wednesdays of the month. Call the office regarding any questions you may have.
Our next Saturday School takes place on Saturday, December 7th, from 9:00 am – noon
in the school library.
Disney's The Little Mermaid performances are December 12th, 13th and 14th, 7 pm. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students with ID's. Adams 12 employees are FREE!!

Week of Nov 11th
Hello Shadow Ridge Parents and Guardians!
Here are the announcements for the week of November 11th
Adams County Student Survey - Over the next few weeks, all 6th - 12th
grade students in Adams County school districts will be participating
in the Adams County Student Survey. This is the primary evaluation
instrument for the Adams County Youth Initiative's support of programs
targeting 6th through 12th graders. Collectively, the data from these
surveys comprise a comprehensive school, district, and county
assessment that will measure the long-term impact of prevention and
intervention activities on youth behaviors and outcomes. Results will
help schools create and sustain safe, respectful, and drug-free school
environments and promote positive social skills.
RAM Time offers students a quiet place to work on homework as well as have access to computers. It is located in the library every day except Wednesdays before school at 7:30am to 8:15am and after school from 3:45pm to 4:45pm.
No school Monday, November 11th, Veterans Day
Chipotle Night is Tuesday, November 12th from 4-8 PM
Flyers will be coming home with students and sent in an email! You MUST have the flyer or be able to show it on your phone to get credit for Shadow Ridge! It is ONLY at the Chipotle on 120th and Washington!

Grandparents may stay the entire day or 1/2 the day.
Saturday School is a quiet place where your student can work on homework. Computers are available. Saturday School takes place in the Shadow Ridge Library. The hours are 9:00 am until noon. The next Saturday School will be November 16th.

RAMS RECOVERY TIME – A Golden Opportunity!!
Parents and Students,
Help us help your child improve his/her academic achievement. Teachers will be available the first, second, and third Wednesday of the month from 2:20-3:00 p.m. in individual classrooms for assessment make-ups and help. We will start Rams Recovery Time on Wednesday, November 6th from 2:20 – 3:00 p.m. All teachers will be available during the 40 minute period of time. Transportation will not be provided. Students will need to make transportation arrangements with their parents/guardians. Our goal is to assist a minimum of 300 students each Wednesday during the first three weeks of the month. We look forward to seeing over 300 students during the first three Wednesdays of the month. Call the office regarding any questions you may have.

The 8th grade choir concert is on Thursday November 7th at 6:30 in the Shadow Ridge cafetorium.
Adams County Student Survey - Over the next few weeks, all 6th - 12th grade students in Adams County school districts will be participating in the Adams County Student Survey. This is the primary evaluation
instrument for the Adams County Youth Initiative's support of programs targeting 6th through 12th graders. Collectively, the data from these surveys comprise a comprehensive school, district, and county
assessment that will measure the long-term impact of prevention and intervention activities on youth behaviors and outcomes. Results will help schools create and sustain safe, respectful, and drug-free school
environments and promote positive social skills.
No school Monday, November 11th, Veterans Day.
Chipotle Night is Tuesday, November 12th from 4-8 PM. Flyers will be coming home with students and sent in an email! You MUST have the flyer or be able to show it on your phone to get credit for Shadow Ridge! It is ONLY at the Chipotle on 120th and Washington!
Grandparent's Day:

Grandparents arrive between 7:45 and 8:00 for a continental breakfast.
Grandparents can stay the entire day or 1/2 the day.
Informational packets are available from all Math Teachers.
Please bring your completed forms to the office by Friday, November 8th.
Saturday School is a quiet place where your student can work on homework and have access to computers at the school library from 9 until noon on November 16th.
Remember, if you shop or eat or see a movie at the Orchard Town Center, Shadow Ridge wins! All you have to do is bring in your receipt(s) to Ms. Long in the main office. It is that simple. We bring your receipts to the Orchard and then return them to you. Shadow Ridge receives 5 points for every dollar you spend. At the end of the school year, we will win a share of the $15,000. Help us win!!! Thank you.

Este es un TIEMPO DE RECUPERACIÓN ¡Una oportunidad de oro!
Ayúdanos, a ayudar a los estudiantes a mejorar su rendimiento académico. Los maestros estarán disponibles el primer, segundo y tercer miércoles de cada mes de las 2:20pm-3:00pm en sus salones para retomar examenes o cualquier otra pregunta. Comenzaremos, el miércoles 6 de noviembre de 2:20-3 p.m. Todos los maestros estarán disponibles durante 40 minutos. El transporte no será proporcionado. Los estudiantes tendrán que hacer los arreglos de transporte con sus padres. Nuestro objetivo es ayudar a un mínimo de 300 estudiantes cada miércoles durante las primeras tres semanas del mes. El concierto del coro de grado octavo es el jueves 07 de noviembre a las 6:30 en la cafetería.
Durante las próximas semanas , todos los estudiantes del sexto – duodecimo grados
de distritos escolares del condado de Adams participarán en la Encuesta Estudiantil del
Condado de Adams. Esta es la evaluación principal para determinar las programas para este
edad. Los datos de estos estudios proporcionan una evaluación integral que medirá el impacto
a largo plazo de las actividades de prevención e intervención en los comportamientos de los
jóvenes. Los resultados ayudarán a las escuelas a crear y mantener un entorno escolar seguro,
respetuoso y libre de drogas y fomentar habilidades sociales positivas.
No hay clases el lunes, 11 de noviembre por ser Día de los Veteranos.
El martes 12 de noviembre de las 4-8 PM es una oportunidad de recaudar fondos para la escuela. Pueden ir a comer a Chipotle entre 120 y Washington. Le enviaremos el folleto con el estudiante y por correo electrónico! Debe tener el folleto o mostrarlo en su teléfono para obtener crédito para Shadow Ridge!
El Día de los Abuelos es el miércoles, 13 de noviembre 2013. El desayuno es de
7:45-8:00am. Los abuelos pueden permanecer todo el día o el medio día.
