Hello Shadow Ridge Parents and Guardians!
Here are the announcements for the week of October 28th

7th & 8th Grade Bands Concert, October 29th, at 7:30 p.m. in the gym.

Read a thon will be Oct 31st all day. All students should now have their pledge sheets. This will be our only school wide fundraiser for the year so please encourage your students to raise as much money as possible. The student that raises the most money for 8th grade will be the principal for 1/2 day and the Top 7th and 6th grader will get to be an administrator for a 1/2 day.
ALL pledge envelopes and money should be returned to students' first period class on Thursday, Oct. 31st.
As part of our fundraiser, students will be allowed to wear professional sports apparel (no hats) on our Read-A-Thon day for $1.00. Students may also pay $1.00 and bring a stuffed animal to read with.
The top fundraiser for each grade level will win a kindle. It will be a day full of fun literacy activities.

RAMS RECOVERY TIME-A Golden Opportunity!
Parents and Students,
Help us help your child and improve his or her academic achievement. Teachers will be available the first, second, and third Wednesday of the month from 2:20-3:00 p.m. in individual classrooms for assessment make-ups and help. We will start Rams Recovery Time on Wednesday, November 6th from 2:20-3 p.m. ALL teachers will be available during the 40 minute period of time. Transportation will not be provided. Students will need to make transportation arrangements with their parents/guardians. Our goal is to assist a minimum of 300 students each Wednesday during the first three weeks of the month.
We look forward to seeing over 300 students during the first three Wednesdays of the month.

Saturday School is a quiet place where your student can work on homework and have access to computers. It takes place in the Shadow Ridge Library. The hours are from 9:00 am until noon. The next Saturday School will be November 2nd.

No school Monday, November 11th, Veterans Day

Please save any Box Tops for Education and Campbells soup labels that you may come across on items you use or consume at home. Students can place them in a box in the main office here at Shadow Ridge. These Campbells soup labels and Box Tops for Education earn us money for S.R.M.S. Thanks!!!!!!

Estos son los anuncios para la semana del 28 de octubre:

Séptimo y octavo grado tendrán sus conciertos de banda el 29 de octubre, a las 7:30 pm en el gimnasio.

Una maratón de lectura se llevar a cabo el 31 de octubre. Todos los estudiantes deben tener sus hojas de la recaudación de dinero. Esta será nuestra única forma de recaudar fondos para el año escolar. Así que por favor, anime a sus estudiantes a recaudar dinero como sea posible. El estudiante del octavo grado que obtiene la mayor cantidad de dinero será el director por medio día y el estudiante del sexto y séptimo grado que obtiene la mayor cantidad será el asistente del director por medio día. Ademas los tres estudiantes que llegan en segundo lugar de obtener la mayor cantidad ganarán un Kindle. Todas sus hojas de la recaudación de dinero y el dinero serán devueltos al primer periodo el jueves 31 de octubre.
Como parte de nuestra recaudación de fondos, los estudiantes se les permite llevar ropa deportiva profesional (sin sombreros) por $ 1.00. Los estudiantes también pueden pagar $ 1.00 para el privilegio de tener un animal de peluche durante el tiempo de leer. Será un día lleno de actividades de lectura.

Los maestros estarán disponibles el primer, segundo y tercer miércoles de cada mes de las 2:20pm-3:00pm en sus salones para retomar examines o cualquier otra pregunta. Comenzaremos, el miércoles 6 de noviembre de 2:20-3 p.m. Todos los maestros estarán disponibles durante 40 minutos. El transporte no será proporcionado. Los estudiantes tendrán que hacer los arreglos de transporte con sus padres. Nuestro objetivo es ayudar a un mínimo de 300 estudiantes cada miércoles durante las primeras tres semanas del mes. El servicio, Escuela de los Sábados, que ofrece al estudiante un lugar tranquilo para terminar las tareas y tener acceso a las computadoras se lleva acabo el 2 de noviembre en la biblioteca de la escuela desde las 9:00 am hasta el mediodía.

No hay clases el lunes, 11 de noviembre por ser Día de los Veteranos.

Guarde los Box Tops para la educación y las etiquetas de sopa Campbells. Los estudiantes pueden colocarlos en una caja en la oficina principal. Estas etiquetas de sopa Campbells y Box Tops nos ganan dinero para la escuela.
